Living the dream.

LIVING THE DREAM

Being truly alive can be described as doing the things you really want to do.
a popular definition of success is achieving your set goal, unfortunately, many a time I forget to set my goals, or better still, change the goal to accomodate circumstances, to my detriment i realise that this is wrong.
having worked in Sales all my life, i have come to the realisation that,

1. Not all targets are realistic:  I  once had a job to head a unit in an organisation, the unit was created on the basis to help develop a Route to Market for the products.
when my KPI's was handed to me, i was too naive to ask for the road map, my tools and what exactly was being saidbin between the lines, I have learnt the biggest lesson in my life, ASK QUESTIONS!!! never be the Superwoman, there is no magic wand for achievement, review the target monthly, weekly, daily.
I grew up trying to please everyone, which is different from being the best you can be.

this is where the target becomes realistic.

what do i desire to become?
what would i do if I could start over?
what would i do if i do not need to worry about paying my bills?
my answers are
1. Entreprenuer
2.Make home made luxurious bathing Soaps
3. Enjoy each day a bit more.
4.  all of the above.

A wise man once told me that my Mission and Vision should always align with my enviroment.

Vision: Where do I see myself in the future?
Mission: how do i get there?

Vision for Oyindamola is
" To leave an inheritance of Wealth, Knowledge, and pleasant memories to my Children's Children."

Mission
I would be the most supportive wife and mother by believing in my family dreams, no matter how absurd, I would embark on projects that will live longer than myself, I would document, take a thousand pictures of pleasant memories and archive them.

makes sense to me.
Life is worth living happily.
