How to remain Happy on the Sales Job.

"Science of being great" is a classic from Wattle D Wallace.

A lesson I have learnt the hard way is that "Life is not a competition" earlier on in life ( just my opinion) I was in the opinion that I had to beat everyone at the race.

Unfortunately, I never seemed to win the race, I could say that at a point in time, I did not know what I wanted, It was " what could I do to be seen as better?"

The simple solution I stumbled on was "Create Your World"

We all have dreams, wants, things in a particular order. The uniqueness of our wants puts us in front of the pack in a simple manner. Let me give you a nudge to JumpStart your thinking process,  we never want the same things, the difference in our wants brings out the uniqueness in us. Various Management theories and laws have proved this but yet we compete for what we think is limited. Earl Nightingale defined success as "achieving set goals, however goals differ from person to person, what appears to be success to me might not be success to you.

One thing that strikes my mind is that,  as simple as it sounds, setting personal goals makes a whole lot of difference, creating the world you want to see around you. Let us not mistaken goals as a to do list or tasks, but considering them as if I have this particular thing I would be happy.

Personal goals enables you to be positive, you realize that you are in the process of living your dream, you enjoy giving your quota, whether it is your own business, your job, your home, you sincerely realize that "this is what I want  "

Another simple lesson is "being the best you can be"
Being the best you can be has elimated your competition, you are your own standard.
If I would want to grow my sales , if I say I want to make 15 sales calls the best way I can, I notice that the Customer's body language warms up with every visit, My attitutde improves and gbam ! "sales increase"

Application of Knowledge is important.

Let nothing stop you from being you. Close your eyes and ears to the negative around you and go for that special thing .

You are the only person stopping yourself.

Is this  the reason you are in sales?
