Salesmen are consistently filled with fear; we have been told other the years that "Salesmen are thieves" we have become a necessary evil to most Organisations.


We have been consistently meeting targets set by others for us to achieve, but have you met your personal target? Let us move away from the "building the house and buying the car" kind of target.

we do not need to live by the standard set in books, we can break the norms, as salesmen we need to have personal goals, what else can I do? Should be a question you should ask yourself each morning. I know we have tried our hands on a venture before and chances are it failed, be strong and get up. Emotionally, Sales can be draining, if you do not have a strong support system of a big hot WHY? you shouldl have thrown in the towel. Yet you see yourself in love with this abusive relationship of Sales.


Unfortunately, most of us believe we do not have another calling, which is a wrong belief. We all have learnt a lot along the journey of sales, but we need to believe in ourselves and live our dreams.

How not to kill a successful Team.

On my way to Work one morning, listening to an audio book, a statement pops at me "Success is achieving Set goals" Pondering on this, I realise teams are destroyed because we do not know how to manage success of teams when we achieve set goals.   A team is considered successful when set targets are met. A team would have gone through this cycle to become a performing team. Going back to the story, you know I am a salesperson, so I am constantly ploughing resources into Self-Motivation, being a Team Lead can be draining as you have to constantly motivate your team. Sales Jobs can seem to be weary behind closed doors, you get to a point and say to yourself "is this really worth the stress?" Sales jobs have their down days where you feel that you just cannot go on. From experience it is easier to stay Self Motivated, than expecting to Management to keep you motivated, because we all have a free will, and we rebel when being coerced into submission.
